Born in New York City, Don DeLillo is often overlooked when discussing writers from the Big Apple. DeLillo made the national scene with his book White Noise in 1985, which lead to his opus Underworld. He is know for painting detailed portraits of American life in the last two centuries, and his new book updates this style. In Fallen Man, a WTC survivor walks out of the attacks unharmed physically, but we all know that day left other kinds of scars.
